Salish
Sea Early Music Festival

Since 2011 the Salish Sea Early
Music Festival has provided world
class period instrument
performances with musicians from
Europe and all around the Puget
Sound, the United States and
Canada. Our performers are deeply
committed, passionate explorers of
musical landscapes and expressive
realms of great variety, among the
finest in their field around the
globe, and we are excited that you
share our enthusiasm for this
chamber music both familiar and
rarely if ever heard on period
instruments.
As we are committed to providing
an opportunity for everyone to
benefit from out efforts,
entrance at the door is by
suggested donation, a free will
offering, and the concerts are
open to all regardless of
contribution. These concert
entrance donations provide the
majority our funding, but it is
not sufficient. Our expenses are
extremely low relative to other
arts organizations, in part as
we have no administrative costs
whatsoever. Your additional
donations provide us with the
opportunity to compensate our
wonderful artists for their
efforts and time away from
intensely busy performance
schedules, and to help offset
the cost of their travel. All
professionals whose livelihood
depends on concerts around the
country and overseas, during the
pandemic our artists lost the
great majority of their work
along with their remaining
concerts with us. Thanks to your
generosity we were able to
provide them with a special
pandemic relief bonus.
Your additional donation gives
us the final lift that enables
this endeavor. Thank you from
all of our performers and
audience members for assisting
us in offering these unique
programs to the community. We
look forward to seeing you at
future concerts!
